1. Call ABF Roofing first if you think you might have damage to your roof from a recent severe weather event.

2. One of AB Roofing’s experienced professionals will contact you to set up a convenient time for inspection of the roof and property.

3. Full, honest, detailed inspection with photo report on condition of your roof and steps moving forward. * Not all storms cause needed insurance claim damage. Sometimes, damage might just need to be repaired.

4. If adequate amount of damage is found, filing an insurance claim will be recommended.

5. You, the homeowner, will need to contact your insurance company and start the claims process.

6. Your designated insurance adjuster will contact you to set up a date and time to do their inspection of the roof/property.

7. Let your ABF professional know of the adjuster appointment so we can ensure a smooth process between you and your claim handlers.

8. You will receive a detailed scope of work and 1st payment from your insurance.

9. ABF will help review the scope of work from the insurer, secure all material necessary for the job, and set up date of roof replacement.

10. If there are any items missing from the insurance scope of work or needs modification to ensure you are getting compensated correctly, your ABF representative can handle any Supplemental needs directly with your insurance company•

11. Once work is completed ABF will send the invoice to your insurance company and they will send final deprecation amount to finish your roof payment to ABF.
